Kelly Kershaw

School PCIT Trial Coordinator

Kelly is a researcher in the School of Psychology at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).  She completed a Bachelor of Arts with distinction and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at UNSW. Kelly’s Honours research examined the epigenetic mechanisms of addiction in rat models. Kelly has over 9 years of experience working on pre-clinical and clinical research studies with a focus on the impact of motherhood on fear learning and drug treatments for anxiety. She has mainly worked with adults including those in at risk groups across different community settings.

In her current role as the Trial Coordinator on the School Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) project, Kelly is overseeing the implementation of PCIT being delivered at 2 primary school based clinics in South-West Sydney. She is passionate about early intervention and treatment and is very excited to be involved in improving the mental health and wellbeing of children with conduct problems via School PCIT.
