Melissa Anderson
Melissa is a registered Psychologist who completed a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology with First Class Honours at Macquarie University. Melissa has also completed a Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. She holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as a Psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Melissa has worked in a variety of research and clinical settings. Her research has included projects examining cross-cultural factors in family ostracism, schools-based mental health programs for young people, and training programs for teachers in the area of student mental health.
Melissa’s clinical experience extends to working with clients across the lifespan. She has experience working with children, parents, teenagers, and adults. Melissa’s therapy style is collaborative and warm. She works from an evidence-based perspective and is motivated to help individuals achieve meaningful change in their lives.
Melissa currently works with families in the PCIT program at the PCIT school clinic at Ingleburn Public School.
